Favorite All-Time Anime Character?

What's your favorite all-time anime character and why?

Vegeta because i share his pride, anger, and attitude along with being a sort of 'bad good guy aspect' ...plus DBZ was on e of the first anume i watch when i was younger besides DB

All-time Favorite? Holy gods, that is such a difficult question to answer.

But AT THE MOMENT it's Levi from Shingeki no Kyojin. Why?
1) He's unattractive
2) He's got an unpleasant personality
3) He used to be a nasty thug
4) Cleaning that fastidiously is evil
5) He's coarse and crass
6) He's not a sexy sadist; he's just mad, bro
7) A deus ex machina waiting in the wings

But he's also a monster of habit, which is something I can easily identify with; and he's got a deeply-seated reason behind most of the points above. He's really kind of sad. The things I find unpleasant about him are the bits that make me gravitate toward his character.

He wins all of my Heart Points for somehow earning my tremendous respect (and sympathy).

i couldnt really say for sure who my favorite of all time is because its like choosing your most favorite child... but in the anime i am watching now (fairy Tail) my favorite character would have to be Laxus, because when he was growing up he felt like his grandfather was the greatest and he learned that power was the way to lead a guild, and as such he took a wrong path, everyone has their own stories in life and i have one, but now is not the time, however it is this reason alone i can connect with him, i dont want to spoil it for anyone so i wont go into detail but, i asked myself why he is my favorite and its a simple answer. when the people/guild he deeply cares for needs him the most he is able to step up and do the right thing. he knows he has done wrong and he must repent, it is this step up or step aside quality i look for in any good anime, and Laxus hit the nail on the head. lol call me crazy but its just the way i am
