~ Introduction to Short Stories ~

Hey guys ~ Bap here. I would like to cover some guidelines for posting your short story on AnimeTalk. Now, we all love reading stories that are short, and honestly, a lot of them are fun to read despite the lack of a lot of things.

1. A short is no shorter than 1,000 words, and no more than 50,000 words (In my opinion honestly.) Anymore than 50,000, then it'll be subject to be split into a different topic. Now, the forum itself only allows a certain amount of words as proven by my story Eden no Sekai. If you need to, you can post your story in segments.
   
   
2. If anything is related to being a fan-fiction, then it'll be moved to the proper forum (Fan Fictions) based on content. Short stories are compromised of original content made by the author.
   
   
3. I won't allow any pornographic material. As mentioned, anything defined as an 'ecchi' is allowed. As long as you don't go as far as describing body parts down to chest and below the belt.
   
   
4. Racism is fine, because sometimes it's a key plot point in stories, but keep it in moderate use. We are a fair community and we accept and welcome any and all races.
   
   
5. Swearing in your story is a-okay by me, but as long as it's not overly excessive. We do have children that will make their way into AnimeTalk, and we don't need to corrupt their minds.
   

Here’s an outline of prohibited content. We are, flat out, not going to allow any content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially offensive, or otherwise inappropriate. If you upload any of this type of content, you can be sure we will remove it.

Prohibited Content:

• Hate speech - Don’t actively promote hatred against individuals or groups, on the basis of race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
  
  
• Abuse and cyber-bullying - We aim to create a safe community on AnimeTalk - no abuse or cyber-bullying allowed! Be kind and treat others as you would want to be treated.
  
  
• Pedophilia - Zero tolerance.
  
  
• Pornography - Any explicit content with the sole purpose of intending to arouse will be removed.
  
  
• Rape/non-consensual sex - Glorification of an illegal act will be removed.
  
  
• Self-harm and suicide - Don’t post content that encourages or supports any type of self-harm and suicide. We aim to create a positive community that facilitates support, recovery and awareness but never glorifies harmful activities.
  
  
• Any other inappropriate or illegal content
