When Keichii Maebara moves to Hinamizawa, he expects to get used to life here and to live happily.  He befriends four girls, known as Rika, Satako, Rena, and Mion.  However, he soon learns that these four are not at all what they seem, and that the town of Hinamizawa hides a  secret.  When all goes wrong, will everyone's world merely... repeat?  A horror/mystery, Higurashi is for those who can take a bit of blood and gore.  Note: This is not an anime that you should judge by the first episode.
