~ General Chat Rules ~

Hey there everyone. Jewby here. I would like to go over some quick guidelines right quick regarding the rules of the General Chat.

1. First and foremost, don't keep spamming and bumping your topic to get it out there and well known. It'll either be locked or deleted.
   
   
2. Keep the offensive language down to a minimum. This is an anime website, therefore kids will come and go and want to talk to everyone. Be polite to everyone and anyone. The moderators and I won't give too many warnings before we delete your post and/or just hide the contents of the message. If it keeps up then removal from the forum is within the future.
   
   
3. Racism is an automatic removal from the website. People from all walks of life will come and go into AnimeTalk and we respect any and every race. Don't discriminate or be a racist to users. It's not tolerated.
   
   
4. Make sure to check your topic to see if it follows the description of the General Chat forum. Sure, people make mistakes so if a topic has been made here that doesn't belong, then I or the active moderator of the forum will move it to the appropriate forum.
   
   
5. Trolling is a sin and is regarded as so on AnimeTalk. It's unneeded and detrimental. Troll topics will be deleted on sight and a warning will be issued out to the user.
   
   
6. There is to be absolutely no pornographic material on AnimeTalk. It'll be removed, and so will you. Kids will be coming in here and I will not put up with parents bashing on me because of the vulgar topics on here.
   
   
7. Other than the other rules, be sure to follow the rules set by Forumotion to keep AnimeTalk up and running!
   

Here’s an outline of prohibited content. We are, flat out, not going to allow any content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially offensive, or otherwise inappropriate. If you upload any of this type of content, you can be sure we will remove it.

Prohibited Content:

• Hate speech - Don’t actively promote hatred against individuals or groups, on the basis of race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
  
  
• Abuse and cyber-bullying - We aim to create a safe community on AnimeTalk - no abuse or cyber-bullying allowed! Be kind and treat others as you would want to be treated.
  
  
• Pedophilia - Zero tolerance.
  
  
• Pornography - Any explicit content with the sole purpose of intending to arouse will be removed.
  
  
• Rape/non-consensual sex - Glorification of an illegal act will be removed.
  
  
• Self-harm and suicide - Don’t post content that encourages or supports any type of self-harm and suicide. We aim to create a positive community that facilitates support, recovery and awareness but never glorifies harmful activities.
  
  
• Any other inappropriate or illegal content
